Wow, our own potential gun stand-off. Only one side is armed though.



So in my city (Waterford) some guy got off his head on mdma last night at 17.30 and blocked himself into his apartment threatening suicide and shooting people, why? because he ran out of fags and cans..

He didn’t jump nor shoot anyone, but by far has been the most exciting thing to happen this “Summer” around here so far =/

Moral of the story, don’t do drugs with a gun!

Upcoming in SOMA Contemporary, Waterford is an exciting exhibition of major film works taken from the collection of The Irish Museum of Modern Art. 

Artists works that will be showcased include:

Carlos AMORALES / Dorothy CROSS / Caroline McCARTHY / Gillian WEARING

The show opens at 7pm on June 30th and will be accompanied with a perfomance by Katie Kim.  The opening will also coincide with the first night of the Tall Ships Festival. More information on the event here

Ireland's Biggest ever Quayside Party

Upcoming in SOMA Contemporary, Waterford is an exciting exhibition of major film works taken from the collection of The Irish Museum of Modern Art. 

Artists works that will be showcased include:

Around the city of Waterford, Ireland.

Beginning on June 30th until July 3rd, 50 of the most beautiful and historical Tall Ships will be stopping at Waterford’s renowned quayside to celebrate in a festival of music, food, drink, fireworks, crafts, parades, street performances, cultural tours and art events. 

The race officially begins on the Tall Ships’ departure from Waterford at 7am on July 3rd, until their destination in Greenock, Scotland on July 9th. Two more races will take place thereafter and more information on those can be found here.
