I am going to pretend I am still here.
Someone asked me that the other day. I wanted to be like, go to my tumblr page, I talk about my beliefs there… BUT first rule of tumblr dont speak of tumblr.
haha. I feel like I keep having to explain myself. Which, I guess since it is something I believe in whole heartily it is okay. No I am not a Christian. Though, that doesnt mean I dont have a faith or believe in something… (I talk about it more specifically in some of my other posts). I am going on a mission trip, because I truly enjoy helping others. I feel that one of the best ways to repay this world that you live on is to take time and help others.
No I am not spreading the word of Christ. BUT I am spreading the word of love. I am going on a mission trip because it was a way in which that I was able to help others.
I respect the Christian religion and their beliefs as I would like them to respect mine. My own beliefs aren’t too far off but I dont dismiss any religion as being wrong… like I said earlier… I believe God, and religion are too much for one person to be able to understand. There are many religions with many different interpretations. I feel each religion holds a piece of the truth, sort of like a puzzle piece, each one, if we set aside our differences, can unlock the truth to reveal something bigger.
But anyway (: My trip to Belize is in, T MINUS 9 DAYS! woop woop. Passport, check. Raised funds, check.
