I've just made aioli from the Leon cookbook for "Q Festival".

Q Festival is the Annual Summer Barbecue at Lauren’s. I have renamed it Q Festival because earlier in the week Lauren was worrying that it might rain. So I was looking on the bright side, and suggested that if it does that, we should all wear wellies and embrace it as a festival. I then decided it should be called Q Festival because Lauren’s road starts with a Q… It’s sunny, and warm, but I’m embracing it anyway, and I’m wearing my wellies. Along with a cute polka dot dress, grey tights, and my awesome cardi. And very red hair. And a straw hat, and sunglasses. Mm yeah.

This morning I made this aioli, because it’s freakin’ delicious, and needs to be shared. Also because I had a yen to make something. It was very satisfying to make. Of course I had to taste it to be sure it was okay… I also made a potato salad with no mayo - just oil, vinegar and lemon mustard - because I can’t stand mayo, and because this one is so damn good. And I’m bringing lime doritos because they are too good not to have.

Family have gone out, and I’m not getting picked up for two hours yet. I might get myself ready and then do that vlog I’ve been meaning to do…
